Randy Orton and the RKO's dominance of WWE social media continued.
More superimposed images of The Viper striking inspired many of the tweets, viral videos and Instagram photos most worth sharing this week. Triple H, Bad News Barrett, a spat on Twitter and a flashback for the stars of Hell in a Cell did some attention-grabbing as well.
Orton's finisher became the subject of a stream of entertaining Vine videos last week, many of them stuffed into a single fantastic compilation.
The RKO trend didn't end, though. Athletes took the move to the field.
A young football player used it during a practice session:
That looks a lot like he may have been hitting a Stunner instead. There was less uncertainty about a move seen on the pitch. Folks playing the other kind of football borrowed from Orton's playbook during a celebration.
Dundee F.C.'s Jim McAlister playfully nailedGary Harkins with an RKO:
Orton noticed and offered a critique on Twitter:
Randy Orton @ RandyOrtonhttp://t.co/qiEWp4QU0P nice celebration, work on your form @dundeefconline #rko
Crazes all fizzle out and lead to new ones. Inserting Triple H, with a steel chair in hand, into videos could be what follows the RKO fad.
A diver's tumble got a lot more entertaining thanks to The Game flooring him with a chair shot:
It's been a long time since we've seen Triple H wield a chair in real life. It feels like Barrett has been gone almost as long.
The former leader of Nexus has been out of action while he recovers from a shoulder injury. He may not be facing live competition just yet, but it does appear that he's up to taking on the undead.
Barrett posted a funny shot of him applying The Accolade to a zombie:
When he comes back, rest assured he'll be coming after the WWE Intercontinental Championship. He never actually lost that title. After relinquishing it, he's had to watch The Miz and Dolph Ziggler trade it between them.
Ziggler's latest challenger battled him on Twitter in addition to the ring.
Dolph Ziggler @ HEELZigglerBut seriously folks, if @wwecesaro is here, whos holding James Bond hostage? Jk hes my fav like mr freeze, minus the charisma #RAW
Dolph Ziggler @ HEELZiggler.@WWECesaro it was to save space & show you were a proper noun but I was wrong, U really are more of a capital D dork
Cesaro took a few shots via tweets, but The Showoff dominated their online scuffle. That's what happens when you trade barbs with a guy who does stand-up comedy on the side.
While WWE's roster was busy traveling to Kansas City, Missouri, Montreal and Mexico this week, The Undertaker made his way down to Austin, Texas.
The rarely seen future Hall of Famer attended a University of Texas football game, and former Longhorns wide receiver Quan Cosby convinced him to stop for a photo:
Quan Cosby @ QCosby17Yep that's the Undertaker #LEGEND #HookEm http://t.co/mp7H34KULW
That version of The Deadman is a far cry from the intimidator we have seen over the course of his career. Even out of the ring, though, he's a scary dude.
When WWE took a look back at some of its most frightening moments, Undertaker figured prominently. In the latest countdown video, the company also reflected on Kevin Nash seeing a terrifying sight inside a casket and Jake Roberts making Miss Elizabeth scream:
The Ultimate Warrior played the victim twice on that list. It's a reminder of how many ill-advised storylines WWE laid out for him.
The vomit-inducing curse angle was just a bad idea from the start.
Warrior's worst feuds didn't stop his popularity from soaring. He's still remembered fondly by many.
A man tying the knot even welcomed The Ultimate Warrior to his wedding—sort of.
A shot of a groom's cake featuring Warrior, Dusty Rhodes, Brutus Beefcake and a host of other names from the past made its way around the Internet. ESPN's Darren Rovell passed it along:

Someone armed with Photoshop was in a nostalgic mood as well, though he didn't travel as far back in time. Twitter has since shared a Hell in a Cell poster made to look like something straight out of the independent circuit.
James Billington was among the many who tweeted it:
James Billington @ bilge1979Old school Hell in a Cell poster for this Sunday! #WWE #HellInACell http://t.co/pcgIZKlxLl
And of course, Orton is a part of this as well. He has been in the midst of a social media hot streak, one RKO at a time.
